How To Play Loteria?
Each player receives a tabla, or board, with a random selection of pictures with their corresponding name from the deck. The deck of cards, featuring a variety of images, is shuffled and set aside.
In loteria, a player assumes the role of caller. The caller draws a card from the deck and announces it to the players by its name, sometimes using a riddle or an ingenious rhyme instead of reading the card name.
The players with the matching images on their board mark it off. The player who fills their board first (and shouts “Loteria!”), wins!
